About Us The Tour is a non-competitive event that features cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and downhill skiing and a little wine, chocolate, and soup (for souper-bowl) It is about having fun and letting your hair down, discovering the outdoors and taking a day just for yourself. In its twelfth year, the Women’s Winter Tour (WWT) is using the comic book heroin Wonder Woman as its annual art theme. “Wonder Woman is powerful force for freedom, fairness, and equality and is an inspiration for women all over the world.” said Kaye Krapohl, founder of the Our message is simple, that there's a wonder woman inside every one of us. The Tour wants women everywhere to discover the “Winter” Wonder Woman you can be. Your participation has helped make a difference.

Women’s Winter Tour. Wonder Woman encouraged women to support one another and break through the obstacles often faced in the world in order to reach their full potential.
Women have unique and valuable superpowers, and we need to support each other to achieve the most in our professional careers as well as in our personal lives. Especially in today's challenging economic climate women need to believe in themselves and come together to discover their superpowers to help women in their
community.
We work hard at having fun so we can help other women get out and take time for themselves, and make a difference in the lives of other women. Our dream is to be a large national event that helps to get the issue of domestic abuse on the public's radar screen. This is one step toward helping to make a change for the better. Kinda like a winter version of "Race for the Cure" or many other Breast Cancer events that have helped to bring awareness of this silent killer, saving many lives. Domestic abuse is also a silent killer. In today's poor economic time it critical to support women resource centers, as domestic abuse increases with the stress of providing for families.
Domestic abuse doesn't care who you are, what income you make, where you live, if you are male or female. It transcends all boundaries and unfortunately, there is much shame associated with the people involved, causing them to avoid recognizing it, and ultimately preventing them from getting help for it. It cycles through generations of families and needs to be recognized by communities in order to make sure that funding and other resources are set aside to help programs that provide much needed tools for people trying to escape these circumstances. Our event is just one small step in helping women get back on their own two feet.
For more information on domestic abuse, visit the "links" section of this site.

We are looking for volunteers, and sponsors. If you can help in anyway we would greatly appreciate it. Help us give more money this year to the shelters and help women.
